Not too big, not too small. This medium sized plotter 10 "display is capable of connecting to the Garmin Marine Network and has alphanumeric keyboard for easy data entry. The GPSMAP 4010 has crisp resolution with video quality and enhanced worldwide basemap with satellite images. Its multiple network ports allow you to connect a set of external sensors and control data transmission (radars, sensors, etc.) from the screen of your plotter, making it a true "sailing center."
Instead of traditional maps, the multifunction plotter 4010 incorporates a basemap of worldwide satellite images of high quality and coastal roads.
Also, if you want more detail, you can add BlueChart g2 Vision easily with the SD card slot.
The high-speed processor Model 4010 draws maps quickly, while its intuitive and simple menu facilitates navigation.
To be informed at all times of what is happening in the engine room or other area of the boat, you have the option to connect live video cameras.
BlueChart g2 Vision
The global base of 4010 map can be supplemented with BlueChart g2 Vision option cards that offer advanced charts, satellite images of high resolution aerial photographs for visual reference and 3D perspective above and below the line flotation and road maps of the coast with its attractions.
Finally, the Auto Guidance search for all elements of the charts to suggest the best route, a route that avoids obstacles, shallow water, buoys and other obstructions.
Connect to the Garmin Marine Network
The GPSMAP 4010 model connects easily to the high-speed Garmin Marine Network through plug-and-play and can interact with other MFPs control system and external sensors.
For better performance, you can combine your plotter with data provided by the probe and the radar network.
