Technology:

� Spiral X Core: Nanoalloy Technology for a stronger blank with better performance.
� Full Carbon Monocoque: Carbon Monocoque grip pursued unprecedented light weight through integrated design by carbon material and hollow structure. As a result, it increases sensibility and succeeds to offer excellent transfer of vibration.
� Nanopicitch: With the Nanopitch manufacturing method Shimano is able to wrap a molding tape which is used in the process of baking on a blank finely and with high precision. Because of the Nanopitch method blanks are tightened up to the extreme while at the same time more uniform pressure is applied, the circularity becomes higher and it contributes greatly to overall rod strength.
� Taftec A: Solid tip with supple and solid bending while maintaining small tip diameter and strength.
� CI4+: Shimano original material reinforced with carbon fiber. It is lighter and has higher strength than conventional resin material. CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 material. This highly technical material is 2.5 times more rigid than CI4 and is used in Shimano reel seats to increase sensitivity and to reduce weight. Use of CI4+ for the reel seat also delivers remarkable rigidity for perfect reel fixation which results in better rod efficiency.
