Technical specifications

Ankerplex Drop is manufactured and marketed in various sizes to meet anchoring needs as a primary anchor on all types of boats: from small motorboats and sailboats to yachts of over twenty tonnes.

Its design is intended to be the strongest component in an anchoring system, and it is manufactured from high-quality standard AISI 304 stainless steel plates, cut and treated through electropolishing.

This process provides superior protection by selectively removing iron from the surface, creating a dense and resistant chromium-rich barrier that ensures maximum protection against abrasion, corrosion, and sediment buildup in marine and extreme environments.

No welding or bending process is involved in its manufacture, ensuring that its characteristics remain unchanged for life.

Ankerplex Drop has undergone destructive testing by independent specialized laboratories. The results confirm a tensile strength consistently higher than that of the anchor line and chain, as well as their interconnections.

Warranty

The Ankerplex anchor is manufactured under a rigorous quality control process using selected materials, and each unit is individually checked by specialists. Nevertheless, during the 5-year period from the date of purchase, the manufacturer will replace the unit or any of its components in the event of
any defect or deficiency in the materials used, or in its original manufacture.
