Aneroid Barograph
Used to measure and record the history of atmospheric pressure.
Measuring element:
• Set of 7 aneroid capsules
• Manufactured of a copper-beryllium alloy
• Essentially eliminates age-hardening, hysteresis, and elastic after-effects that could degrade accuracy
Temperature compensation:
• Bimetal components compensate for temperature influence on the aneroid capsules and transmission system
• Effective over full measuring range and for temperatures between −30 to +40 °C (−22 to 104 °F)
Mechanism:
• All contacts in the movements are jewelled to reduce friction
Clockwork options:
• Mechanical wind-up or quartz clockworks
• Instantly switchable for daily, weekly, or monthly revolution
• Actual periods: 25.6 h, 176 h, and 783 h
Accessories included:
• Fibre pens
• One year’s supply of recording charts
Special feature:
• Option for enhanced dampening available for barograph use at sea
