The SteadyCast heading sensor is a simple and easy-to-install solution that can be quickly calibrated and provides exceptional heading accuracy. It aligns the boat's bow with its actual orientation, so that, with the help of the chartplotter display, you can know where you're casting.
Accurate heading even at low speeds
With a heading output rate of 10 Hz and accuracy of plus/minus 3 degrees, you can be confident that the chart orientation and the boat's heading line will match reality, even at low speeds or when completely stationary in the water.
Effective in rough sea conditions
You can also rely on the accuracy of the heading information, even in rough sea conditions.
Easy to install and quick to calibrate
Thanks to the plug-and-play NMEA 2000® interface and an accurate and simple two-step calibration process for compatible Garmin chartplotters, the SteadyCast heading sensor is very easy to install. Basic calibration is also available for Garmin echoMAP models and other NMEA 2000 displays. 9-axis MEMS technology allows installation in any orientation away from electromagnetic interference. Its design allows installation in the bilge.
