Product description

These multipurpose blocks are essential for racing yachts of all sizes, featuring opening sideplates that allow crew to quickly deploy them for temporary leads, line deflection, and static line functions requiring small adjustments. The design ensures ease of use and rapid installation wherever needed on deck.

Strop Attachment: A strop soft-attach is fixed on one side but easily removable on the other, carrying the block’s primary load while articulating to provide a fair lead.

Velcro Strap: The Velcro strap is permanently attached to one sideplate and holds the block securely closed when sideplates are aligned, even under the highest loads.

Reflective Tab: The strap features a broad reflective tab to facilitate easier operation when wearing gloves.

Performance Features

Composite Bearing: Harken composite bearing technology (ULC) ensures sheaves turn smoothly and maintain efficiency under extreme loading conditions.

Snap-fit Bearings: Snap-fit Torlon bearings are designed to carry sideloads effectively.

Headspacer: An integral headspacer prevents the Hard Lube-anodized aluminum sideplates from deflecting and binding.

Wide Sheave: The wide sheave accommodates a range of line diameters.
