Foulfree Kit

Any marine growth on your transducer will negatively affect its performance, reducing the detail of the sonar image. If you had a stereo speaker with something in front of it, absorbing the sound, you would still hear the music but you would lose some definition and detail. A transducer works in a similar way.

Foulfree™ prevents marine micro-organisms (snail shells) from sticking to the transducer, keeping your boat's "eye" and "ear" in perfect condition.

Foulfree™ keeps your transducers working at peak performance with a clean, clear signal that will accurately show you the bottom around you and the schools of fish below your boat's transducer.

Dirt on transducers can reduce their sensitivity, reducing echo returns from the bottom, fish targets and reducing the detail of the sonar image you receive. Foulfree™ forms a slippery surface that marine micro-organisms cannot latch onto, keeping the transducer surface clean and clear.

• Can Foulfree™ damage my transducer?

No. Foulfree™ has been tested and shown to have no adverse effects on transducers.AIRMAR certified.

• Is Foulfree™ environmentally friendly?

Yes. Foulfree™ is a "Foul-release" coating that does not release toxics into the marine environment or poison marine micro-organisms. Foulfree™ works because it creates an ultra-slick, non-toxic surface to which marine micro-organisms find it impossible to anchor.

• How long will Foulfree™ last?

Foulfree™ lasts a minimum of 12 months, with an even longer shelf life in cooler climates.
