Alpha Compact alternators are optimized to deliver high continuous output power in energy storage applications. Combined with our Alpha Pro regulators, they create a high-performance plug-and-play charging solution. This combination is suitable for all types of batteries, including lithium-ion.

These automotive-style alternators offer many advantages. Most manufacturers offer a second alternator option, better known as a power take-off option. This allows an Alpha Compact to be added directly as a second alternator. Alternatively, the original alternator can be replaced with an Alpha Compact to obtain a powerful three-phase charger compatible with MasterBus.

High-performance alternators, direct connection

Compared with conventional alternators, the Alpha Compact offers light weight, compact dimensions and low fuel consumption. This is made possible by its open design with dual internal fans. Temperature is controlled by integrated temperature sensors.

Models

The Alpha Compact series consists of 7 models in 12 V and 24 V. Models with the "VP" suffix are ideal for Volvo Penta engines. Finding the right alternator for a specific application can be difficult. If in doubt, ask us!

Accessories

The Alpha Compact 14/200 VP is equipped as standard with a multi-groove pulley, although Mastervolt offers a complete range of multi-groove pulleys.
