The horizontal series HRC10 of windlasses proudly follows the most successful steps of Maxwell's old fully automatic rope / chain anchor windlasses.
Characteristics
● The entire new HRC10 fully automatic horizontal reel series is designed to operate easily on 8 mm (5/16 ") and 10 mm (3/8") of the short link chain and 14 mm (9.16 ") and 16 mm (5/8 ") Rope of 3 turns or 8 braids.
● The most powerful version HRC10-10 can be used with a 10 mm (3/8 ") chain attached to a 16 mm (5/8") 3-stroke or 8 braid.
● The aesthetically covered design evolves from the "form of function" philosophy that encapsulates the engine and unit in a two-piece waterproof box that saves space under the tires.
● The two-part case consists of a hard-cast marine-grade anodized aluminum front and a rugged composite rear motor that is easy to disassemble.
● The two-piece waterproof case allows quick and easy routine maintenance.
● The simple assembly of the bolts guarantees an effortless and quick installation and configuration of the tire.
● Stainless steel presses always carry the maximum control pressure in the anchor line (rope, splice or chain).
● The new and revolutionary Wave Design sprocket can handle different types of chains within the specified chain diameter suitable for the HRC10 series.
● Maxwell's exclusive "rotating" horizontal pinion ensures the use of more than 90 degrees of wheel, so the handling of the rope and chain is much better than the design of the boiler.
● The HRC10 works just as efficiently with the chain only for those who want the additional security and retention power of an anchor system for chains only.
● Integrated chain door and sturdy tire lining ensure easy guidance of the rope / chain anchor line in and out of the anchor hole.
● The sealed oil bath and the marine-grade hard anodized aluminum gearbox deliver high-efficiency results with precision gears.
