Product description
Smart NMEA 2000 transducer for measuring depth, speed through water, temperature, heel and trim.
To connect it to a Raymarine SeaTalk ng network, the optional A06045 adapter cable is required.
The DST820 combines depth, speed through water and temperature measurements, along with vessel heel and trim data, in a single through-hull transducer.
Its Gen2 paddlewheel registers speeds from less than 0.3 knots and offers an update rate of 5.7Hz, suitable for smoothly tracking speed changes while underway. The integrated attitude sensor provides information on the boat's longitudinal and lateral inclination.
The secure Bluetooth connection allows the transducer to be configured and calibrated from a phone or tablet using the Airmar CAST app. It supports basic and advanced calibrations, including speed compensation according to different heel angles and sailing ranges.
Data is transmitted via NMEA 2000 for integration with compatible onboard instrumentation. When connecting to a Raymarine SeaTalk ng network, the optional A06045 adapter cable must be used.
Its retractable housing with valve makes it easy to remove the insert for inspection, cleaning or maintenance.
