The KS-43 Black Edition is the most powerful VHF antenna in the entire Scout range, specifically designed to ensure long-range communications and outstanding reliability, dedicated to those who are not satisfied with just an ordinary VHF antenna.
The antenna is of collinear type, assembled with brass and copper elements, and equipped with an ultra-resistant fiberglass whip with a thickness of 1.5 mm.
In addition, the antenna is fully injected with polyurethane using the special Scout 100% waterproof technique, making it perfectly sealed and providing unbeatable resistance against the toughest weather conditions. Water, wind, ice, and high speed are no problem. The fiberglass whip is coated with black paint to match the aesthetics of the most modern boats.
The antenna is supplied with 6 m of high-performance RG-8X cable with 97% copper braid coverage, ensuring perfect shielding from external interference. The base is made of stainless steel with a standard 1″ x 14 thread, compatible with any type of mount (although stainless steel/chrome brass mounts are highly recommended).
