The ZS Series Jammers deliver unrivalled performance for high loads and larger diameters with controlled release capabilities. Digitally modelled jaw surfaces securely hold high-tech rope at its safe working load while maintaining excellent performance on smaller diameter lines. These jammers offer easy on-deck service access and are available in carbon versions with lightweight, super-strength bodies. Side mounting is possible using existing holes in the jammer body, and ceramic-coated jaw options provide consistent holding for blended covered ropes. The series accommodates lines from 8 to 18mm (5/16 to 11/16 inches) with loads up to 4000kg (8820lbs).
ZS Carbon Powerjammer
• Fasteners: Supplied with high tensile fasteners for standard mounting.
• Mounting: Can be vertically or side-mounted on masts, with custom mounting plates available for each jammer.
• Remote Operation: Can be set up for remote operation using ZS-RLB.
• Finish: Supplied white painted as standard, with custom finishes and unpainted products also available.
ZS Bonded Series
• Design: Smaller and lighter than standard models, supplied unpainted for direct bonding.
• Applications: Suitable for foredeck tack control lines and remote release locks, bonded to mast and booms.
Jaw Series Options
• P Series Jaws: Supplied as standard for use with Dyneema core and polyester cover ropes, generally used in ZS Alloy Jammers.
• HC Ceramic Jaws: Specially designed for ropes with blended covers, including polyester with high-tech fibres such as Aramid, Technora, Codura or Vectran.
• Enhanced Grip: HC Series Jaws feature ceramic coating to resist polishing and wear caused by loaded rope at high line speed, allowing faster engagement and improving load holding performance.
