The Trysail Switch enables the mainsail and trysail to share a single track, significantly reducing weight aloft. This asymmetrical switch installs above the standard system, providing a crossover for trysail cars to utilize the mainsail track. Trysail cars are loaded at deck level and travel past the gooseneck and flaked mainsail onto the mainsail track. The switching mechanism is totally automatic, ensuring only trysail cars travel onto the trysail track while mainsail cars pass through to the standard switch and storage tracks.
Automatic Switching: Only trysail cars can travel onto the trysail track, while mainsail cars pass through to the standard switch and storage tracks.
Installation: The compound track bend is determined by the installer. Cars must not be under load in the curved section.
