The Airmar B175 H-W (0°) transducer is a unique wide-beam, high-frequency, Chirp-ready solution that operates across a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz. This high-frequency band delivers superior resolution and a fixed 25° beam for all frequencies, providing twice the coverage and excellent fish arches on the display compared to most narrow-beam transducer options.
This high wide-beam configuration is the ideal choice for both inshore and pelagic fishing, where resolution and maximum coverage are essential down to 152 m (500'). The B175HW transmits across the High Chirp frequency of 150 to 250 kHz, covering the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency and everything else in the bandwidth. High frequency ensures superior shallow-water performance, bottom detail, and fish-target separation. The Tilted Element™ design fixes the element at a 0° angle within the housing, which corrects for hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to ensure maximum echo returns. The fixed 0° tilted version is specifically designed for hull deadrise angles between 0° and 7°. The low-profile bronze housing provides good resolution at speed when properly installed, making it suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls with stepped, planing, or displacement designs.
