The Simrad XSONIC AIRMAR SS60 is a stainless steel transducer designed for through-hull installation, providing precise depth and water temperature measurements. Its ceramic element is tilted to compensate for hull deadrise, ensuring excellent echo returns and more accurate depth readings.
This model operates at dual frequencies, 50 kHz and 200 kHz, offering optimal target detail in shallow water and excellent bottom tracking in deep water. The 0° tilt is specifically designed for boats with a hull deadrise between 0° and 14°. The low-profile design minimizes water resistance, with only 5 mm extending outside the hull. Low CHIRP frequencies enable accurate bottom tracking in deep water.
Additionally, it features a Plug & Play connection that allows for easy installation and compatibility with Simrad NSSevo3 and Lowrance HDS Gen3 systems.
