The Simrad NSO evo3S marine processor is a compact 'black box' solution that integrates two quad-core processors and connectivity options needed to integrate and expand your system vessel-wide. This processor acts as the brain of your boat, capable of driving two independent touchscreen or keypad monitors (sold separately), each functioning as a full-featured multifunction display with access to charts, radar, sonar, and more.
The modular design simplifies wiring and avoids the need to carry extra hardware, such as GPS receivers or sounder modules, for every display on board. You can add two displays side-by-side at a single station or create two separate stations for individual crew members to use simultaneously. These monitors are designed for the marine environment, featuring extra bright sunlight-viewable screens for outdoor use or non-touch versions ideal for enclosed pilothouses or cabins.
The system offers supreme performance with category-leading response times, enabling fast chart redraws and seamless performance in demanding applications like the optional Structure Scan® 3D imaging system.
Industry-standard connectivity, including Ethernet and NMEA 2000®, allows integration of a wide selection of Simrad and third-party accessories, from audio and radar systems to autopilots. A standard USB mouse, trackball, or keyboard can also be connected to simplify tasks such as route planning, which is ideal for displays installed in the pilothouse or cabin.
Simrad MO series monitors are the perfect complement, offering IPX6 water-resistant displays available in various sizes and touchscreen or keypad versions. Control is achieved via Simrad MO touchscreen monitors or the optional OP50 keypad with rotary dial.
