Fixed Pod Cruise motors are the preferred electric motors for sailboats. All Pod Cruise systems come with an integrated GPS, onboard computer, and display showing speed, input power, battery level, and range, with a compact, low-drag, and lightweight pod thanks to advanced helical gear design. The Cruise 3.0 is a 24-volt Pod motor with an equivalent of six horsepower, ideal for sailboats up to 30 feet or displacement hulls up to 3 tons.
With a single Power 24-3500 lithium battery, this lightweight and cost-effective electric drive provides up to one hour of full-speed operation and can run all day at lower speeds. Need more range or speed? You can add up to 8 Power 24-3500 batteries for additional energy storage. Choose between the standard top-mount throttle lever (1918-00) or the side-mount Sail throttle lever (1949-00, sold separately). Motor comes with fixed (standard) propeller or optional folding propeller (1985-00).
