High-efficiency outboard motor
More robust and with improved anti-corrosion protection
Input power of 6,000 watts, propulsion power equivalent to a 9.9 HP gasoline outboard
Also available as a reduced-power version with 4.300 kW shaft power for license-free operation in Austria
TorqLink is the advanced electronic communication system developed by Torqeedo for the Deep Blue and is now integrated into selected Cruise motors, throttle levers, and Power 48-5000 batteries. All products with the TorqLink designation communicate seamlessly from startup. The TorqLink Gateway (2217-00) allows integration of non-TorqLink components into your system.
• High-performance outboard with TorqLink data communication
• Connection to remote steering
• Cable set 4.12 m, 35 mm², including main switch
• Propeller B 12.5 x 17 HSP
Note:
• Throttle not included (recommended: TorqLink throttle, part no. 1976-00)
• For use with batteries from other manufacturers or with the Power 24-3500, order part no. 1990-00
• Cruise motors are the preferred electric outboards for motorboats, light sailboats, and commercial users.
• All Cruise systems include an integrated GPS with on-board computer and display showing speed, input power, charge level, and range, with a compact, low-drag, lightweight pylon featuring advanced helical gear design.
• The Cruise 6.0 is a 48-volt outboard with an equivalent 9.9 HP, ideal for vessels up to 6 tons. The Cruise 6.0 R comes with Torqeedo’s advanced TorqLink system, allowing faster and more precise data exchange between components, such as the Power 48-5000 battery and TorqLink throttle levers (sold separately).
The Cruise 6.0 is also available in tiller and fixed Pod versions.
• High-efficiency outboard with 6,000 W input, equivalent to a 9.9 HP gasoline outboard
• Pair with Power 48-5000 for optimal performance and precise range/runtime functionality
• The R model includes a remote control articulated bar to work with standard industry steering systems
• Your choice of TorqLink throttle levers (recommended part no. 1976-00: TorqLink throttle with color display)
• Robust aluminum pylon with integral fin: extra grounding protection
• Premium seawater-resistant aluminum for long service life, even under harsh conditions
• Extensive galvanic corrosion protection through careful material selection and meticulous isolation of materials with different electrochemical properties – supplied with anode set for fresh and salt water
• Compatible with other manufacturers’ 48 V batteries, but must be carefully adapted to motor power requirements and the 1990-00 cable set. Connection to standard remote control provided.

* Torqeedo’s static thrust data is based on ISO-compliant measurements. Fishing motor thrust data is generally measured differently and shows higher values. To compare Torqeedo motors with conventional fishing motors, increase Torqeedo’s static thrust data by approx. 50%.
• Which Cruise model is suitable for each type of boat?
All Cruise models are suitable for dinghies and other small boats. For auxiliary boats and sailboats up to 3 tons, we recommend the Cruise 3.0. The Cruise 6.0 easily propels boats up to 6 tons.
• Is the on-board computer compatible with lead-acid batteries?
Yes, but only partially. When powered by lead-acid batteries, the charge level and remaining range are estimated based on battery information entered in the system through the setup menu.
• What are the advantages of the Power 48-5000 lithium battery for the Cruise?
The Power 48-5000 lithium battery delivers much higher power than conventional lead batteries with lower weight. This reduces unnecessary load, increasing range and propulsion. Its electronics communicate with the on-board computer to provide up-to-date battery information, including remaining range and capacity.
• What is the function of the on-board computer?
The on-board computer integrated in the Cruise R throttle lever or Cruise T tiller analyzes and combines motor and GPS data. Motor consumption and GPS speed data are accurate, and battery/autonomy data are always current when using the Power 48-5000, as both devices communicate in real time.
• What are the requirements for installing a twin motor setup (Twin Cruise)?
The Twin Cruise system consists of two Cruise models (3.0 R or 6.0 R). For standard installation, a minimum transom width of 76 cm is required.
• What is the warranty of the Cruise?
All Cruise models have a two-year warranty from the date of purchase for private use.
