Kuwae is a one-piece suit specifically designed for swimming and apnea, the result of Cressi’s extensive experience in pattern-making, assembly, and material selection, inherited from its freediving and diving suits.
Design and Pattern-Making
• Fully designed using sophisticated 3D software, allowing detailed study of material fit and sizing on virtual mannequins.
• Cut optimized for maximum comfort and prevention of chafing, especially in high-mobility areas such as the armpits and shoulders.
Neoprene
• Neoprene in different thicknesses (2 – 3 – 4 mm) adapted to the needs of each area of the body:
- 4 mm: Front of the legs and chest → Enhances buoyancy and trim while swimming on the surface.
- 2 mm: Torso, arms, and armpits → Improved fit and mobility, full freedom of movement.
- 3 mm: Back and inner thighs → Enhances buoyancy and thermal protection.
Medium-density neoprene with:
• Smooth outer finish and water-repellent treatment → Excellent hydrodynamics and high tear resistance.
• Ultraspan© inner lining → Extremely elastic and soft to prevent chafing, while offering high durability.

Construction
