The Harken Battcar system, used with full-length battens, facilitates raising, dousing, and reefing mainsails with ease. It serves as extra crew for shorthanded sailing. Battcar systems outperform in-mast or in-boom furling mechanisms while costing less. This system allows you to retain your existing sail without the need for recutting.
Lightweight Design: Slider Battcars provide a lightweight and cost-effective solution for managing mainsails.
Low-Friction Operation: Hardcoat-anodized aluminum cars slide smoothly on low-friction plastic inserts.
Compact Profile: The compact car size results in reduced overall weight and lower stack height.
