Set consisting of 48 MVSV 2V 1250Ah gel cells, supplied in 8 transport crates. It allows battery banks of 12V, 24V, 48V or 96V to be configured by means of series and parallel connections.
This set comprises 48 gel cells from the MVSV range, each with a nominal voltage of 2V and a commercial capacity of 1250Ah. It is intended for large-capacity stationary systems that require reliable energy storage, continuous operation and the flexibility to adapt the battery bank to the electrical characteristics of the installation.
Connecting the 48 cells in series allows a 96V, 1,248Ah nominal bank to be configured. They can also be arranged in series-parallel configurations to increase the available capacity while maintaining a lower voltage:
- One string of 48 cells: 96V and 1,248Ah nominal.
- Two strings of 24 cells in parallel: 48V and 2,496Ah nominal.
- Four strings of 12 cells in parallel: 24V and 4,992Ah nominal.
- Eight strings of 6 cells in parallel: 12V and 9,984Ah nominal.
In a series connection the voltages are added and the capacity is maintained. In parallel the voltage is maintained and the capacities are added. To ensure balanced operation, all strings must contain the same number of cells and use units of the same range, model, capacity and state of charge. New cells must not be combined with used units.
Valve-regulated lead-acid technology keeps the electrolyte immobilised in gel and requires no water topping up. The cells can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position, always with the same orientation throughout the bank. In horizontal installations, each unit must be individually supported on a suitable rack over its entire surface.
The 48 cells are supplied in 8 transport crates.
