A safe connection between the vessel and the shore installation is a fundamental part of your electrical system. Galvanic electrical isolation between the shore earth and the on-board earth prevents electrical corrosion of metal parts while ensuring correct grounding.

IVET heavy-duty series

High-output-voltage E-core transformer without enclosure, so you can install it yourself. The product features multi-tap technology; that is, it can operate with an input/output voltage of 120, 230 or 240 V.

Mastervolt recommends installing the IVET high-load isolation transformer with Soft Start technology. Soft Start prevents excess inrush current in the transformer and stops the supply fuse from blowing.
