The Cressi Baron is a full-face mask for surface snorkelling. It shares Duke’s functional design with simpler styling and cardboard packaging, offering its features in a more economical format.

How the design works

• Separate airflow channels. A dual-section side snorkel organises incoming and outgoing air. The breathing circuit is designed to work without opening intermediate valves on each breath.
• Less warm air in the viewing chamber. A deflector sends some incoming air towards the viewing area. The exhaust path creates a chimney effect to remove warm air and reduce fogging.
• Panoramic vision. Cressi describes a viewing angle up to 30% wider than many similar full-face masks, without distortion.
• Dry top and water drainage. The upper float valve limits water entry from waves or a submerged snorkel tip. Three drainage valves operate if water enters: two in the viewing chamber and one in the breathing chamber.
• Two sizes with a silicone skirt. S/M and M/L sizes, with clear or black silicone depending on the option, allow you to select the right fit.

Technical specifications

Surface use: this mask does not allow nose pinching for Valsalva equalisation or mask-pressure equalisation through nasal exhalation. Cressi states that it must not be used below 1.5 m depth. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and select the size for facial fit.
