XS Compact 2nd stage
New ultra-simplified ABS + elastomer monocoque second stage, very small in size (6 cm diameter), very light (145 g) with a mechanism and construction studied to obtain the minimum number of components and great robustness.
It is an intelligent purchase option due to its combination of performance-reliability-price-cost of maintenance, ideal for uses that require maximum reliability and also as a travel regulator given its lightness combined with the MC5 1st stage, for diving centres or as a work regulator with the AC2 and as a top of the range set with the MC9.
• Particularly low exhalation effort without the need to reduce the thickness of the membrane. The design of the membrane retention system directs the flow 100% channelled towards the nozzles of the moustache, benefiting from a powerful Venturi effect which also helps to direct the bubbles away from the diver's field of vision. Embedded diaphragm to avoid water leaks in case of sharp turns or when jumping from the boat into the water.
• Virtually integral purge button, 80 to 400% larger than any other regulator on the market to facilitate the purge manoeuvre, especially for inexperienced divers.
• The 30º bayonet twist lid assembly system ensures very simple and safe assembly and disassembly, even for sand cleaning work on the beach and without the need for tools.
• Reduced ageing due to use thanks to the finish of the casing, the result of applying a new technology to the mould that achieves a nuanced appearance based on a micro-texture of rounded profiles.
1st Stage AC2
• 1st stage with simple piston, an economical, simple, reliable and robust ‘mule’ suitable for intensive use. It is a first stage applauded by diving centres and professional work companies that consider it a very profitable tool due to its low cost and practically no need for maintenance and also with a surprising level of performance.
• Conical filter with high filtering capacity, essential to prevent the entry of particles from the cylinders. This point is especially important in school or rental regulators.
• Air flow rate 2100 l/min with an intermediate pressure drop in intensive breathing (150 bar) 0.5-0.8 bar (Measurements made on an LP output with the second stage connected and a pressure of 150 bar in the cylinder).
• External LP regulation by means of Alyco key, which greatly facilitates the management of revisions and maintenance by the technical services.
• 1 High Pressure (HP) 7/16‘ and 4 Low Pressure (LP) 3/8’ outlets.
• 100% complete maintenance kit including low-cost and precautionary spare parts.
• Weight: Int: 615 g / DIN 480 g

Asymmetric front perforation. The water flow starts to push the membrane in a counter-clockwise direction so that its retraction occurs perfectly flat and the cam descends progressively and in perfect perpendicularity, regardless of the conditions (current, sudden movements, any position of the face, etc.). |

Patented cam tilting. One of the main reasons for the initial inspiratory effort is the friction between the cam and the membrane, Xs Compact incorporates a new Cressi patent that reduces the friction coefficient from 0.2 to 0.001. |

Sliding moustache. Safe and reliable system that eliminates 100% the need for fasteners. |

Oversized, virtually integral purge button: 400% larger than the traditional ones and 80% larger than the Ellipse series. |

Bayonet locking with 30º turn without thread and without the need for tools, ideal for schools and diving centres due to the ease with which it can be used for small emergency cleaning operations. |
