The Raymarine Pathfinder Black Box radar is a professional solution designed for commercial vessels and advanced applications requiring a flexible, robust architecture ready to integrate multiple networked equipment. Its "Black Box" format allows radar processing to be separated from the display screen, facilitating custom installations on modern command bridges.
This system is designed to work with an HDMI monitor, thanks to its HDMI In / HDMI Out connections, allowing it to adapt to professional configurations with marine or industrial displays. In addition, it offers particularly comprehensive network connectivity via RayNet PoE (10/100/1000 Mbits/s) with three Ethernet ports, enabling powerful and scalable integration with other Raymarine equipment.
For a professional control experience, it includes touch interface support via USB-A (Touch input) and USB-B (Touch output), plus a connection for accessories via USB Micro B. It has 64 GB of internal solid-state storage and, when external storage or chart cards on physical media are required, it supports connection via a remote card reader.
The unit incorporates dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and Bluetooth v4.0, facilitating interaction with compatible systems and adding flexibility at the installation and commissioning level. It also has audio outputs (RCA left/right) and analog video connections via BNC for specific integration scenarios.
In environments where equipment of different generations must be made compatible, it supports NMEA 0183 via an NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 converter (reference A80721), as well as NMEA 2000 connectivity via a DeviceNet connector.
