The Pathfinder ECS 16 dual is a next-generation electronic chart system, developed to deliver a professional, robust and reliable solution for marine navigation tasks. Based on proven and validated technology, this system is particularly suited to small commercial vessels, fishing boats and workboats requiring a dual-screen configuration.
Design and interface
It features two 16-inch high-definition touchscreens, with a fanless design that ensures quiet, long-lasting operation. Its housing is sealed against water and dust, meeting IPx6/IPx7 protection standards, and its special coating provides optimal visibility even in adverse conditions.
The Pathfinder interface has been optimised to make route planning, display of nautical information and full management of the navigation system easier, with intuitive menus and operating modes specific to each stage of the voyage. The dual-screen configuration expands the viewing area and allows better organisation of the information available on the bridge.
Included components
The system is supplied with an ergonomic trackball that allows all functions to be controlled without relying exclusively on touch. It also incorporates a Data Control Unit (DCU) that facilitates integration with additional on-board sensors and systems.
