The Pathfinder ECS 19 dual is a latest-generation electronic chart system, developed to offer a professional, robust and safe solution for maritime navigation tasks. Based on proven and validated technology, this system is especially suited to small commercial vessels, fishing boats and workboats requiring a dual-display configuration.
Design and interface
It features two 19-inch high-definition touchscreens, with a fanless design that guarantees silent, long-lasting operation. Its housing is sealed against water and dust, complying with IPx6/IPx7 protection standards, and its special coating allows optimum visibility even in adverse conditions.
The Pathfinder interface has been optimised to facilitate route planning, display of nautical information and comprehensive management of the navigation system with intuitive menus and operating modes specific to each phase of the voyage. The dual-display configuration allows the viewing area to be expanded and the information available on the bridge to be better organised.
Components included
The system is supplied with an ergonomic trackball that allows all functions to be controlled without relying exclusively on touch. It also incorporates a Data Control Unit (DCU) that facilitates integration with sensors and additional on-board systems. The system is completed with an eSync 4G gateway, chart reader, auxiliary alarm and the necessary cables.
Updating and connectivity
The ECS 19 dual allows automatic updating of electronic charts and software thanks to its compatibility with remote synchronisation technologies via 4G or Wi-Fi connection, which reduces the need for manual intervention and ensures continuous compliance with the most recent nautical data.
