Scorpion 5 mm: distinctive camouflage with freedom to move

The Cressi Scorpion 5 mm uses a scorpionfish-inspired pattern, developed from high-resolution photographs. Red, black and white contrast helps break up the spearfisher’s outline. An open-cell interior and Ultraspan exterior complete this freediving and spearfishing suit.

Camouflage and practical construction

• CRYPTIS colour-transfer technology Preserves fabric elasticity and supports lasting pattern definition. Cressi states that the contrast is maintained underwater. The red tone also helps surface visibility but does not replace signalling equipment.
• Ultraspan over the entire exterior Multidirectional stretch lining with abrasion resistance, hydrodynamic properties and quick drying.
• Medium-density neoprene Balances compression resistance, ballast requirements and buoyancy variation. Stretch comes from the lining without reducing neoprene density.
• Room to breathe and move A seam-free panel along the torso sides, underarms and inner arms promotes chest/back expansion. Waist-high trousers avoid additional tension across the chest.
• Targeted protection Oversized double padded loading support with non-slip, tear-resistant fabric. Padded, semi-flexible Tatex knee/shin guards are divided into two protective elements.
