Stern anode (Baglietto type) Ø140x38 - Bulk

The anodes are sacrificed in favour of the protected metals.
They must be cleaned and replaced regularly.
Warning, When they are worn beyond 60%, they no longer retain their protective capacity.
For seawater, either a zinc alloy or aluminium alloy anode should be used.
At equal intensity, an aluminium anode weighs three times less than a zinc anode, has a higher electronegative potential and pollutes less.
Ideally suited to protecting aluminium hulls.
For exclusively freshwater sailing, a magnesium anode is preferred.
