MAX POWER vertically retracting VIP thrusters use a unique and patented thrust plate design. The VIP 150 model is available in 12V, 24V and a new 48V variant, which makes is the first 48V vertically retracting model in the market. VIP150 model is ideally suited to high performance sailing yachts and super-fast motor yachts 40-60’.
- 48V variant efficiency: For the 48V variant we have 48% decrease in amperage consumption and 50% increase in operation cycle, in relation to the 24V equivalent variant which makes it a cost efficient solution (smaller cables, supply from the same home batteries which results in lower installation costs)
- Operating voltage: Thrusters are designed to run at 10.75V on 12V units, 22V on 24V units and 45,6V on 48V units. Higher voltages will result in higher thrust ratings, higher power consumption, and a reduced duty cycle.
- Performance data: Performance data is given for a thruster deployed at an immersion depth of one tunnel’s diameter, and this within a variation of + / - 6%.
