Using a Battery Mate or a battery isolator together with an Alpha alternator makes it possible to charge two or three independent battery banks simultaneously.

TIP: An alternative to a generator could be a second alternator on the main engine combined with a larger battery bank and an inverter.

For all types of engines

The Alpha alternators are equipped with various brackets to adapt the alternator mounting, available through the installer or the engine supplier. Some engine brands come with Mastervolt alternator brackets as an option.

Fast charging, even at fixed rpm

Standard alternators only deliver the specified power at high revolutions. The Mastervolt Alpha alternator is specifically designed to charge powerfully even with engines at low revolutions.

Multi-groove pulley

The 12/130 and 24/75 models are also available with a multi-groove pulley.

Operates above 40 °C

Forced cooling by activating the fan via the pulley provides plenty of power at high temperatures, especially near the engine.
