The Simrad NF80 steering remote offers intuitive controls and a 1.7-inch display that can be used to adjust route, heading, rudder angle, or autopilot mode from anywhere on board. This device provides dedicated steering controls for your fully integrated autopilot system, complementing the touchscreen controls on your chartplotter.
Adding a remote enables autopilot control from multiple stations, which is perfect for fly-bridges or dual-helm setups. The system features direct rudder control with Non Follow Up steering, allowing you to manually steer from any autopilot station on board.
Moving the spring-loaded steering lever to port or starboard causes the rudder to turn in the same direction. The rudder will continue to turn while the lever is held, then hold its current angle once released, waiting for a new angle setting. The simple design allows for flush-mount installation using included accessories, or external mounting to a desktop or bulkhead via an optional mounting kit.
