The Airmar B175 H-W (12°) transducer is a unique wide-beam, high-frequency, Chirp-ready solution. The high band operates across a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz and features a fixed 25° beam for all frequencies.
This high-frequency design delivers superior resolution, while the constantly wide beam provides twice the coverage and excellent fish arches on the display compared to most narrow-beam transducer options.
This configuration is ideal for both inshore and pelagic fishing, where maximum coverage and resolution are essential down to 152 m (500'). Tilted Element™ transducers have the element fixed at a 12° angle within the housing. Because the transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, the tilt corrects for hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to ensure maximum echo returns. The B175HW transmits across the High Chirp frequency of 150 to 250 kHz. The fixed 12° version is specifically designed for hulls with a deadrise of 8° to 15°.
