The DW-LMN Lume-On Lifejacket bladder illumination lights are designed to illuminate the inflated lifejacket bladder, significantly increasing visibility and aiding in location during emergencies. These compact, water-activated lights serve as a supplementary safety feature used in addition to approved lifejacket lights. By utilizing the inflated bladder as a diffuser, they create a bright, visible glow that helps rescuers locate the wearer. The product is supplied as a pair of self-adhesive lights and is a standard feature on specific Deckvest models, though it can be retrofitted to compatible lifejackets from other brands.
Design and Function
• LED Configuration: Includes 2 flashing LED lights (supplied as a pair) that illuminate the inflated lifejacket bladder to increase visibility and aid location.
• Diffuser Effect: Uses the inflated lifejacket bladder itself as a diffuser to maximize the spread and visibility of the light.
• Activation: Water-activated and fully waterproof for reliable operation in marine environments.
• Compact Design: Features a lightweight and compact form factor with a total weight of 14g (0.5oz).
• Recognition: A multiple award-winning product, notably receiving the Dame design award in 2015.
Installation and Compatibility
• Mounting Method: Attaches and integrates only in lifejackets with separate bladder and cover construction; sticks directly to the underside of the inflatable chamber.
• Packaging: Retail packaged as a pair of self-adhesive lights.
• Model Fitment: Standard feature on the Deckvest Vito and Deckvest 6D; can be retrofitted to other Spinlock Deckvests and other brands of lifejacket.
• Solas Compliance: For Solas approved light requirements, refer to the Spinlock Pylon.
• User Responsibility: All Spinlock lifejackets have been tested and approved for use with the Spinlock Lume-On. If fitting to other brands of lifejacket, it is the user's responsibility to check compatibility with the lifejacket manufacturer.
