Gara Impulse: progressive finning with a more relaxed foot position

Cressi Gara Impulse fins combine a reactive polypropylene blade with a dual-hardness foot pocket. The 29° blade angle and progressive flex support smooth, efficient finning for freediving, spearfishing and surface swimming. Turning movement into propulsion

• Progressively tapered blade High-modulus polypropylene tapers from 4 mm to 2 mm. A stiffer first half and more flexible tip promote progressive bending and help limit sideways slip.
• 29° for a relaxed foot Greater inclination than the traditional 21–23° allows finning without holding the foot in a forced position. Suitable for surface travel and phases with greater resistance to movement.
• Stable blade tip A slightly narrowed tip and two thermoplastic-rubber winglets help stabilise the kick.
• Efficient foot-pocket transmission Shore 75 thermoplastic rubber in the rails, sole and instep band is flexible but has low stretch to limit energy loss. Softer Shore 65 material improves comfort and extends into the heel to support grip when walking.
• Self Adjusting fit A central 2 cm instep band allows 2–4 mm expansion depending on size, accommodating a higher instep or thicker socks while preserving force transmission.
• Anatomical geometry Pocket volume is calibrated by size for the effect of neoprene socks. Lower rails accommodate different blade angles and allow the blade to flex.
