Origin LD: stable manoeuvrability without weighing down your feet
Cressi Origin LD fins carry forward the 1950 Rondine Commando heritage with modern materials and geometry. Their single-material construction and neutral or slightly positive buoyancy provide versatility for recreational and technical diving, with abrasion and fracture resistance.
Why choose LD
Medium density and balanced behaviour Shore 60 material is neutral or slightly positive: Cressi quotes around +10 g for M/L in saltwater. Designed for travel, stability and different finning techniques.
Foot pocket beneath the blade The blade starts from the top of the pocket at a total angle of 15°. This helps transmit effort and channel water from ankle to blade tip while allowing a relaxed foot position. Cressi attributes a 10–15% performance improvement relative to blade area to this construction.
Spring straps included Self-adjusting AISI 316 stainless steel springs. Angled buckles position the strap over the heel and a simple pin allows replacement. Spare springs are available in different lengths.
Robust, versatile design Classic styling, stable finning and good manoeuvrability for switching between kick techniques.
Version, sizes and buoyancy
Version in this listing
Origin LD, medium density, Shore 60.

Sizes
XS/S, S/M, M/L and L/XL.
Colours
Yellow, metal blue, blue, white, pink, black and orange.
Buoyancy
Depends on size, spring-to-body proportion and water density. It is not the same as the fin’s weight out of the water.
Choose size with your intended boots in mind, and consider comfort, efficiency and manoeuvrability alongside buoyancy.
