Lalizas introduces its new Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD) in compliance with the amendments to SOLAS Chapter II-2 and IMO Circular 849. This amendment enters into force on 1 July 2002 for new vessels and from the first inspection for existing vessels. This means that all vessels on international routes must carry these devices on board from 1 July 2004.
