This set comprises 6 gel cells from the MVSV range, each with a nominal voltage of 2V and a commercial capacity of 1250Ah. It is intended for stationary installations requiring a high storage capacity, continuous operation and a construction suited to demanding applications.
Connecting the 6 cells in series allows a 12V battery bank with a nominal capacity of 1,248Ah to be configured. In a series connection, the cell voltages are added together and their capacity is maintained. To promote balanced operation, the connected units must be of the same range, model, capacity and state of charge. New cells must not be combined with used units.
Valve-regulated lead-acid technology keeps the electrolyte immobilised in gel and requires no water topping up. The cells can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position, always with the same orientation within the bank. In horizontal installations, each unit must be individually supported on a suitable rack along its entire surface.
