The Raymarine Pathfinder 24 ECDIS is a type-approved professional ECDIS system, designed as a single electronic navigation station for command bridges that require maximum reliability, clarity of information and continuous operation in demanding marine environments.

The system is based on the Pathfinder ECDIS 24" display (ref. E70664-ECDIS), a professional display specifically designed for ECDIS applications. With a WUXGA resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and a high brightness level of 1300 nits, it offers clear, legible viewing even under high ambient light conditions, ensuring correct interpretation of charts and critical navigation data.

The display features a fanless design, enabling silent operation and significantly reducing maintenance requirements. Its thermal management is optimised for reliable operation in all types of weather conditions. It is also certified to IPx6 and IPx7, making it suitable for professional marine environments.

The system is controlled via the Pathfinder keyboard with integrated trackball, an ergonomic and precise solution widely used on professional command bridges, particularly valued for its reliability compared with touch interfaces during prolonged operations.

The system incorporates a Pathfinder Data Collection Unit (DCU), responsible for centralising and managing information from the vessel's various sensors and systems. The architecture is completed with integrated processing and an internal network switch, optimising the space required in both new builds and retrofit projects.

The Pathfinder 24 ECDIS allows straightforward integration with other Raymarine systems, including existing Pathfinder radar installations, via a single Ethernet connection. It also features an HDMI video output, facilitating connection to legacy VDR systems or repeater displays.

The system can be powered directly from 12 or 24 V DC networks, which simplifies its electrical integration on board. It is supplied as a complete solution, including the elements necessary for installation as an ECDIS central navigation station.
