This fully featured, lightweight, front-opening lifejacket harness offers automatic inflation and an optional Harness Release System (HRS). Available in 170N and 275N buoyancy options, it is designed for offshore sailing with a one-size-fits-all design. The jacket features the UML Pro Sensor Elite activation system and includes a Pylon 360-degree lifejacket light and Lume-On bladder illumination lights. A new sprayhood design with a large clear structured visor ensures visibility while being stored away from the neck.
Buoyancy Options: 170N is the recommended buoyancy for offshore sailing. 275N may benefit larger users, those carrying extra tools or equipment, or commercial users, as it may turn a face-down body over quicker and hold the user's head higher out of the water.
Activation System: UML Pro Sensor Elite automatic inflator replaces the previous Pro Sensor model, being 13mm shorter and 4 grams lighter. It uses a water-sensitive compressed paper capsule that dissolves when wet to release a spring, puncturing the CO2 cylinder. The cap design ensures activation only occurs with water flowing upwards, preventing false triggers from spray or rain running down the jacket. Two indicators display the status of the CO2 cylinder and firing head.
Fit and Comfort: Improved front opening buckle with a smooth body adjuster system. Enhanced shoulder fit system ensures a perfect fit all day. Hard-wearing coated fabrics are used in key areas for durability. The firing system is located on the rear of the bladder to improve comfort and reduce snagging when inflated. An enhanced back profile provides a clean, unobtrusive look and fit.
Safety Features: Pylon 360-degree lifejacket light fitted. Lume-On bladder illumination lights fitted. New sprayhood design with a large clear structured visor, stored away from the neck. 40mm single leg strap with a stowage pocket, which is extra wide, easy to find, and easy to locate. MOB1 AIS compatible.
Harness Release System: Optional HRS allows the wearer to disconnect from the safety line by releasing a lever behind the soft loop attachment point. The activation handle is located behind the soft loop, making it easy to locate, grab, and pull. Once released, the soft loop opens, separating the user from the safety line and boat. The system is easily reset for reuse and meets ISO12402-1 Deck Safety Harness requirements. Spinlock considers a knife essential but developed this reliable, simple release system to meet ISO12402 approval standards.
