Set consisting of 12 MVSV gel cells, 2V and 1000Ah, supplied in 2 transport crates. It allows 12V or 24V battery banks to be configured by means of series and parallel connections.
This set comprises 12 gel cells from the MVSV range, each with a nominal voltage of 2V and a commercial capacity of 1000Ah. It is intended for high-capacity stationary systems requiring reliable energy storage, continuous operation and flexibility to adapt the battery bank to the electrical characteristics of the installation.
The standard configuration connects the 12 cells in series to obtain a 24V bank with a nominal 998Ah. They can also be arranged as two strings of 6 cells connected in parallel to configure a 12V bank with a nominal 1,996Ah.
In a series connection the voltages are added and the capacity remains the same. In parallel the voltage remains the same and the capacities are added. To ensure balanced operation, all connected cells and strings must be of the same range, model, capacity and state of charge. New cells must not be combined with used units.
Valve-regulated lead-acid technology keeps the electrolyte immobilised in gel and requires no water topping up. The cells can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position, always with the same orientation within the bank. In horizontal installations, each unit must be individually supported on a suitable rack over its entire surface.
The 12 cells are supplied in 2 transport crates.
