Set consisting of 24 MVSV 2V 280Ah gel cells, supplied in 1 transport box. Allows battery banks of 12V, 24V or 48V to be configured via series and parallel connections.
This set brings together 24 MVSV gel cells, each with a nominal voltage of 2V and a capacity of 280Ah at the C10 rate. It is intended for high-capacity stationary systems that require autonomy, continuous operation and flexibility to adapt the battery bank to the electrical characteristics of the installation.
The standard configuration connects the 24 cells in series to obtain a 48V 280Ah bank. They can also be arranged in series-parallel configurations to increase capacity while maintaining a lower voltage:
- One series of 24 cells: 48V and 280Ah.
- Two series of 12 cells in parallel: 24V and 560Ah.
- Four series of 6 cells in parallel: 12V and 1,120Ah.
In a series connection the voltages are added and the capacity is maintained. In parallel the voltage is maintained and the capacities are added. To ensure balanced operation, all series must incorporate the same number of cells and use units of the same range, model, capacity and state of charge. New cells must not be mixed with used units.
Valve-regulated lead-acid technology keeps the electrolyte immobilised in gel and does not require topping up with water. The cells can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position, always with the same orientation throughout the bank. When installed horizontally, each unit must rest individually on a suitable rack along its entire surface.
