Overview
The Pathfinder ECS 22 is the largest model in the ECS range, designed for professional environments where an expanded display of charts, routes and navigation data is required. It incorporates the same robust architecture, intuitive interface and reliability as the 16" and 19" models, with the advantage of a larger screen area.
Design and interface
Its 22-inch high-definition touchscreen provides a more immersive navigation experience, ideal for bridges with sufficient space. It features an advanced coating that protects against grease, water and demanding environmental conditions, maintaining legibility at all times. The fanless design and sealed construction ensure durable, silent performance.
The Pathfinder interface maintains its philosophy centred on operational clarity, with modes dedicated to navigation, route planning and electronic chart management. The menus and controls are designed to reduce the operator's cognitive load and improve decision-making.
Included components
It includes a high-precision external trackball for smooth navigation through the menus and tools, as well as a DCU (Data Control Unit) that allows full integration with on-board systems: radar, AIS, depth sensors, among others. The system is completed with an eSync 4G gateway, chart reader, auxiliary alarm and the necessary cables.
Updating and connectivity
The system supports wireless and mobile connectivity for automatic updating of electronic charts and system software. This allows information to always be kept up to date, reducing maintenance times and avoiding errors caused by outdated data.
