It features a special mounting base that allows operation via a wireless contact, prevents exposed metal contacts and ensures completely watertight seal.
The rod is fixed to the base with a sturdy bayonet fitting. Once stowed, only a small flat disc for attachment is visible on the hull.
The base plate is available in two different layouts, one in plastic and the other with stainless steel details.
